Christmas Cake Decorations
There are many different theories around the origins of Christmas Cake and many different ways for it to be enjoyed.
I'll never forget my first Christmas in Yorkshire and my incredulity at it being served with a lump of Wensleydale Cheese!!! Down in the Midlands it had always been served with a good old cup of PG Tips.
The combination works incredibly well though and I still delight in introducing friends from southern shires to another marvellous Yorkshire taste sensation.
Whether you're a fan of traditional rich fruit cake and you start mixing Granny Edith's recipe every June or prefer to buy a simpler Chocolate Yule Log the fun part has to be the decorating. Next to the eating of course!
